The LSA Volunteer Spring Retreat was held in Cape Cod, MA from May 9 - 13th, 2002. The theme of the retreat "Journey of the Heart" -- was just that --- it was a time to reflect, relax, and enjoy each other's company in the beautiful environs of Cape Cod. Activities included house cleaning to open the Sister's house for the season; Friday afternoon we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon frolicking on sandy shores.
We enjoyed yoga, led by Trish on Friday and Saturday mornings, and on Saturday we told our stories to each other, in a session led by Sr. Janet McCann, LSA Liaison.
Our retreats are times to delve more deeply into ourselves, to assimilate the work and life lived among the poor and struggling families to whom we are sent and to deepen in the spirituality of the Little Sisters.
