Family Lifeline Volunteers
Fall Retreat, November 2003

The fall retreat was a chance to welcome not only four new volunteers, but a new FLV director. FLVs Robert, Sr. Agnes, and Jordan were commissioned, as was FLV director Tony Lorenzen. Tony and Sr. Janet led a retreat that focused on learning about one another, exploring urban American poverty, and sharing stories of the call to mission and ministry in the LSA family as a way of exploring the charism of the Little Sisters and the FLV program.

Highlights included silly and serious ice breakers, listening to volunteers and Little Sisters tell their personal stories of calling and service, watching the film the "The Dancing Church: Video Impressions of the Church in Africa" with Sr. Agnes who filled us in her native Kenya, and of course, the commissioning liturgy.
